The NASA Clipper AIS plotter/radar is a standalone AIS receiver and plotter built for leisure craft, showing nearby AIS-equipped vessels and SARTs on a radar-style display.
- The Nasa Marine AIS radar is the first stand alone AIS receiver/plotter specifically designed for the leisure boat market.
- Ranges: 0.125, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32 nautical miles (nmi).
- Receives Class A, Class B and SART AIS transmissions on 161.975 and 162.025 MHz.
- Tracks up to 30 vessels with bearing, range, COG pointer and position trails.
- Uses standard marine VHF antenna and standard NMEA0183 GPS input (RMC).
- High-contrast display with white backlight. Dimensions: W 15.0 × H 11.2 × D 4.2 cm (5.9 × 4.4 × 1.7 in).
- Operates from 12 V with low power consumption; selectable target data including MMSI, name, course and speed over ground.
