The NASA Clipper AIS plotter/radar is a standalone AIS receiver and plotter built for leisure craft, showing nearby AIS-equipped vessels and SARTs on a radar-style display.

  • The Nasa Marine AIS radar is the first stand alone AIS receiver/plotter specifically designed for the leisure boat market.
  • Ranges: 0.125, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32 nautical miles (nmi).
  • Receives Class A, Class B and SART AIS transmissions on 161.975 and 162.025 MHz.
  • Tracks up to 30 vessels with bearing, range, COG pointer and position trails.
  • Uses standard marine VHF antenna and standard NMEA0183 GPS input (RMC).
