Description
Epiglass Epoxy Resin project pack — fast cure, versatile marine epoxy for laminating, sheathing, fairing and repairs on GRP (fibreglass), timber and plywood.
- Fast cure for quick turnaround on repairs and laminations
- Solvent-free formulation with low odour for a cleaner working environment
- Low viscosity for easy mixing and excellent wet‑out of fibres
- High-strength bonds for sheathing, laminating and structural gluing
- Ideal for filling and fairing prior to finishing
- Suitable for GRP, timber and most common boatbuilding materials
- Project pack format designed for small to medium jobs
Working guidance (indicative):
- Mix ratio: follow the pack label for the exact resin:hardener ratio and measuring instructions.
- Pot life and cure: pot life is relatively short — work in small batches; indicative pot life at 20°C: 20–40 minutes. Surface set typically within 2–6 hours with further strength developing over 24 hours depending on temperature and thickness.
- Working temperature: optimised for typical workshop conditions; indicative working range 10–25°C — colder temperatures slow cure, higher temperatures shorten pot life.
- Coverage depends on application and laminate schedule; the low viscosity assists rapid wet‑out of glass cloth and fibres.
- Project pack contents: matched resin and hardener sized for small-to-medium repairs — check the pack label for exact quantities.
- Health & safety: use suitable gloves and eye protection, avoid skin contact and ensure good ventilation; refer to the product safety data sheet for full PPE and handling instructions.
Complete your job with related products: marine fillers, marine glass cloth and epoxy accessories.
