Description

High-efficiency 30 A MPPT solar charge controller with LCD for dual-battery systems (12/24 V) — ideal for boats, campervans and motorhomes.

  • Dual-battery charging: main battery charged at high power; secondary battery trickle-charged up to 1 A to keep it topped up. The secondary/trickle output is intended to maintain auxiliary batteries—see the manual for chemistry-specific settings.
  • PV input and power: Max PV Voc 100 V; max combined PV power 390W (12 V) / 780W (24 V).
  • Full Range of Protection Functions: this charge controller features a comprehensive set of electronic protection functions to prevent reverse current, over-charging, short circuit, reverse polarity and more; water-resistant to IP33 when installed.
  • Compatibility: unlike many other less advanced solar charge controllers, this model is 100% compatible with Gel, AGM, Lead‑Acid Flooded and Lithium (LiFePO4 or Li‑NiCoMn) batteries for the main bank.
  • Advanced system functionality: the controller automatically recognises 12/24 V battery systems and provides an intuitive LCD display for status and settings.
  • MPPT performance: the most advanced MPPT technology to ensure high efficiency (>95%) and superior energy harvest compared with PWM controllers.
  • Communication & protection features: RS485 communication port; negative common ground; current limiting function (30 A) and other electronic protection features.
  • Electrical & environmental specs: self-consumption <26 mA; working temperature -30°C to +80°C (-22°F to +176°F).
  • Mechanical specs: size 243.7 x 158 x 63 mm (9.6 x 6.2 x 2.5 in); mounting dimensions 180 x 156 mm (7.1 x 6.1 in); weight 1.4 kg (3.1 lb); multiple mounting holes (5 mm diameter) for ease of installation.

Note: the two battery banks for this controller must have the same rated voltage (both 12 V or both 24 V). Refer to the enclosed manual for wiring and operation details.
