Description
International Gelshield 200 is a quick‑drying epoxy primer for GRP hulls that protects against osmosis and leaves a hard, matt protective coat.
- Size: 750 ml (26 fl oz)
- Quick‑drying epoxy primer for GRP/FRP
- Protects against osmosis in five coats — 250 µm (0.25 mm) DFT
- Usable down to 5°C; fast drying allows multiple coats in one day
- Colours: Grey and Green; two‑colour system improves coverage and overcoating contrast. Use alternating colours starting and ending with grey. Bilges: Apply 2 coats only if there is gelcoat on the inside of the hull; if not, do not apply in bilges.
- Suitable for above and below the waterline; finish: matt
- Mixing: measured base + hardener; stir and leave 10 minutes to disperse bubbles
Apply over clean, sanded GRP (180 grit). Remove old antifouling with Interstrip where needed. Apply with brush or a 5-inch foam radiator roller for even coverage; use thinners code YTA061 if required.
