Description
180W 12 V monocrystalline solar charging kit with PWM 20 A charge controller and 2 x 5 m cables, ideal for vans, boats and small off-grid 12 V systems.
- Solar panel — Peak power: 180 W; maximum power voltage (Vmp): 20.2 V; maximum power current (Imp): 8.91 A; open-circuit voltage (Voc): 23.9 V; short-circuit current (Isc): 9.47 A; power allowance: ±3%.
- Panel construction — 5 busbar monocrystalline cells for improved efficiency in warm climates; sealed aluminium frame, waterproof for permanent outdoor use.
- Dimensions & weight — Dimensions: 147 cm (57.9 in); Weight: 11.5 kg (25.4 lb); 8 mounting holes 9 x 11 mm.
- Cabling & connectors — Supplied with 2 x 5 m high-quality single-core solar cables and a pair of male/female MC4 connectors for easy connection; compatible with 6 mm² extension cable.
- 20 A solar charge controller — Rated current 20 A; fully automated operation with auto 12/24 V selection; PWM charging to optimise battery charge acceptance and life; stops reverse current at night.
- Controller protections & specs — Over-charge, over-discharge, overload, short circuit and overheating protection; self-consumption 8.4 mA (12 V) / 7.8 mA (24 V); working temperature −35 °C to +50 °C; terminals for wire up to 10 mm²; size 15.9 x 8.1 x 4.8 cm; weight ~300 g.
- Monitoring & installation — The controller can be connected to a remote MT50 meter with LCD for status and configuration; multiple mounting holes for ease of installation; detailed user manual and wiring guide supplied.
- Notes — Essentials kit only: does not include mounting accessories or battery; panel can be fitted to a flat roof using metal brackets or other mounting hardware (not included). Due to warehouse arrangements the solar charge controller may be shipped separately.
Suitable for charging 12 V battery banks and powering 12 V loads tolerant of input variation (e.g. pumps, motors). Use suitable fusing and cable sizes; seek professional installation if unsure.
