Description
Photonic Universe 200W 12 V essentials kit supplying free, weatherproof solar power for 12 V batteries — ideal for campervans, motorhomes, boats, sheds and remote sites.
- 200W waterproof monocrystalline panel with durable rigid frame and 5‑busbar cells, plus 2x5 m high-temperature single-core solar cables with male/female MC4 connectors (MC4s may be cut off for direct connection to a charge controller).
- 20 A 12/24 V PWM solar charge controller: protects batteries with auto cut-off to prevent over-charge and deep discharge, stops reverse current at night and includes protections for over‑voltage, over‑charge, over‑discharge, short‑circuit and reverse polarity.
- Charge controller connectivity: can be connected to a remote meter (MT50) with an LCD to monitor and optimise the charging process; refer to the controller manual for available communication accessories.
- Solar panel specifications: Peak power: 200W; Maximum power voltage (Vmp): 20.2 V; Maximum power current (Imp): 9.9 A; Open circuit voltage (Voc): 23.9 V; Short circuit current (Isc): 10.52 A; Power allowance range: ±3%.
- Physical details: Dimensions: 1480 x 670 x 35 mm (approx.); Weight: 13.3 kg; 8 mounting holes 9 x 11 mm; 2x5 m of high-quality single-core solar cable supplied.
- Charge controller specifications: Rated current 20 A; fully automated operation with auto 12/24 V selection; self-consumption: 8.4 mA (12 V) / 7.8 mA (24 V); working temperature -35°C to +50°C; terminals for wire up to 10 mm²; size: 15.9 x 8.1 x 4.8 cm; weight: 300 g; multiple mounting holes for ease of installation.
- Notes: this is an essentials kit and does not include mounting accessories or battery; electrical connection instructions supplied. Please note the solar charge controller may be shipped separately due to warehouse arrangements.
Fitting: the solar panel can be mounted to a flat roof using metal brackets, poles or rails (mounting hardware not included). Ensure correct fusing and battery sizing; refer to the installation tab for full guidance.
